The first person I ever saw play one was Johnny Winter.
Johnny's fantastic. I saw this video of him playing with Muddy Waters at some festival and he killed. I love his solo acoustic playing though, he's just got such a great sound with it.
He never makes any “Greatest” lists. His Johnny Winter And group was fantastic. Rick Derringer, the second guitar in the band was no slouch either.
Who knew you could amplify that way? People are so inventive! Very cool that you have and play one. Appreciate the vid demo.
It's interesting that someone decided to put a pie plate in a guitar in the first place. I never would have guessed that that would work
